Swiss Tonic Water - 20cl

‘Swiss Tonic Water’ is produced by Gents in Winterthur for 1616 Spirits. The team at 1616 was looking for the perfect accompaniment to its ‘Moustache Gin’. As a Swiss producer, only Swiss tonics were considered in the search, so as to be able to create a purely Swiss gin and tonic. After many hours of tasting, they finally opted for the renowned and well-established tonic expert Gents.

Since 2012, Gents Tonic Water has established itself among connoisseurs in Switzerland, Denmark and Germany as the gourmet’s choice when it comes to creating the perfect gin and tonic. It complements the botanical notes of Moustache Gin wonderfully and brings out its best qualities in a fantastic way. The Swiss Tonic is also ideal for 1616’s ‘Swiss Vodka’.

Colour: clear

Aroma: slightly spicy and sweet with fresh lemon notes

Taste: pleasantly spicy with a lovely balance between sweet and bitter notes, with hints of quinine, lemon and gentian

Finish: initially the lemon comes to the fore, followed by a slightly bitter and dry quinine note – with plenty of room for the gin’s aroma
