Langatun - Arinzano Blanco Cask Finish - Single Malt Whisky - 49.12% - 50cl

The Langatun Arinzano Blanco Cask Finish is a release in our Cask Finish series.

First, the single malt was allowed to mature for over 3 years in a Swiss Chardonnay cask. This barrique made from French oak gives the whisky a delicate white wine accent with spicy wood notes. It was then transferred into a French oak barrique numbered #353. There it spent a good five years absorbing the aromas of Arinzano white wine from the north of Spain. This bottling is limited to 507 bottles.

Colour: Yellow-brown

Nose: elegant with subtle floral notes and aromas of sultanas, liquorice, honey, caramel, peaches and orange peel

Palate: Intense with floral notes again and aromas of spicy wood, accompanied by strong sultanas and spicy nutmeg

Finish: Medium to long-lasting and rather dry with flavours of figs, hazelnut and some pepper
