Langatun Old Mustang Swiss “Bernbon” Whiskey
The Langatun “Old Mustang” is an excellent Swiss Bernbon whiskey. The term “bourbon” comes from Bourbon County (today Kentucky, USA), which is named after the named after the French Bourbon family.
However, since the name “Bourbon” is protected and the American state does not allow the use of the name outside the USA, the name had to be changed to “Bernbon”, because our Old Mustang is produced in the canton of Bern.
The bourbon and the Bernben are given a sweet strength . Pronounced vanilla and caramel notes that are typical of the typical for the strongly burnt wood, harmoniously join in.
The Langatun “Old Mustang” is slightly sweet in the nose, with a vanilla aroma and a beautifully integrated wood note. With its 44% alc. It is elegant on the palate, sweet, with notes of honey and vanilla. The finish is full-bodied and soft.
Nose: slightly sweetish, vanilla, beautifully integrated wood
Taste: elegant, lovely, honey, vanilla, spicy
Finish: full-bodied, velvety, soft
